Bro. Jason paid our chuch a visit tonight and I for one was blessed. It's not everyday, well in most churches now days, when you hear the word of God preached with such power. Listening to a man of God get up and tell a church what they need to hear is a moving experience.
Bro. Jason is the Pastor of Renlow Freewill Baptist Church in Renlow, NC. He is the youngest son of our Pastor and a strong man of God.
Those who missed the service tonight missed a great message. "WILL YOU ANSWER THE CALL?" 1st Samuel 3:1-10 Samuel was a young man when God called to him, but he did not know who was calling. Will you know the voice of the Lord when he calls you to do his bidding? Will you be open to what he wants you to do? Age doesn't matter, but the adults need to be an example so when the youth hear His call they will know how to answer.
Jason's brother, Jerome, was also a visitor along with a couple from his church. It was great being able to worship together.

On March 18,2012 our church recieved a blessing. Jay Shuler, a country boy from the hills of North Carolina, brought a message which was delivered with power.
The twenty-two year old man has a power of someone who has preached for years. His voice carries the tune of angels, rising and falling when speaking God's word. He has a belief that is strong and it makes itself known in his message.
Not only can he preach but his singing will make you sit up and take notice. The spirit of the Lord shows greatly in him and I for one enjoyed the service. A fewmore years under his belt, staying in God's good grace, I believe he will continue to be a great man of God.

Bro. Dixon traveled from Georgia to bring a special blessing to our church. The spirit of the Lord was moving freely throughout the service and many were blessed. Through song and message Bro. Dixon made his belief in God effedent. It is nice to see that the Spirit of the Lord dwells in the vessels of our youth.

H O M E C O M I N G
at Greer Freewill Baptist Church
Homecoming day is upon us!
Ovens have been worked overtime, as
Mom prepared for the feast;
Everyone is waiting with anticipation, our
Country Church pews are full.
Old and young alike are gathered, telling of
Memories dear to their hearts;
Igniting a fire of spirit and faith, to
Nurture our souls today and always.
God bless you all!
Get ready for the final homecoming, where
Family and friends reunite,
Beautiful smiles will reflect off golden streets, while
Choirs sing praises to our Father.

Today our guest speaker is Ansel Smith. Ansel is the brother of our very own Bro. Allen. It was a great service, giving thoughts for all to ponder.
